Retreat Terms & Conditions
“You” or “Your” refers to the client booking at B-Ji Kundalini Yoga & Sound Retreat
“We” or “Our” refers to B-Ji Kundalini Yoga and the host Trek-Nomad in Morocco
No booking contract will exist and your booking is not confirmed until your deposit or full payment has been received and that you have accepted Terms & Conditions. Once done, you will receive a booking confirmation email from us. If applicable you’ll receive an agreed payment plan.
If a space is reserved for you, you will have 48 hours to pay a deposit of £300 which is non refundable or full in order to secure the booking. Should payment not be received within this time, we have the right to release your space for other clients.
We accept bank transfers or PayPal payments (PayPal friends to avoid fees). Additional fees incurred by such methods are to be absorbed by the guest.
If payment of the balance is not received by a mutually agreed date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain funds.
Clients must have their own travel insurance to join the retreat which will cover them in the event that they are unable to attend due to illness, bereavement or any other personal reason.
We strongly recommend all clients take out the necessary travel insurance at the time of making their booking.
We do not accept responsibility for any costs that are not included in the retreat package, including airfare.
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. If you do not provide us with any notice of cancellation and do not attend the retreat, you remain liable for 100% of the booking fee.
In case of cancellation, non-payment, non-arrival or an early departure on retreat, no refund will be provided except:
If the clients can find a replacement that is an equal match, we can refund except deposit - provided that the replacement has paid in full.
Should a clients need to cancel but can not find a replacement and we are able to fill the place, you can receive a 50% refund.
We reserve the right to cancel your space should we not receive the full payment within the terms mentioned and no refund will be provided.
Though our spaces are limited we always endeavor to treat cancellations sympathetically
If you proceed with a booking it will be deemed that you have read and accepted our Cancellation Policy.
Retreat Cancellation by Us
If for any reason within our control but reserve the right in certain circumstances to cancel a retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid.
Should we have to cancel due to reasons beyond our control or through force majeure, a credit will be offered for you to attend to reschedule retreat dates.
You shall keep all venue fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects clean and in good condition and agree to replace any items which are destroyed, damaged or missing with an item of a similar kind and/or of equal value.
You shall refrain from any illegal activities or any behavior that will be offensive or cause harm to another guest or staff member.
You shall ensure that you are medically, mentally and physically fit to take part in the retreat and to make use of any of the facilities on retreat. Should you have any illnesses or injuries, it is advised to seek medical advice prior to joining us.
Should there be a breach of any of the above retreat conditions, we reserve the right to request you to leave on your own accord or to remove you from the retreat venue.
Changes of Schedule
We reserve the right to slightly change the advertised schedule should it be deemed necessary for us to do so.
Due to situations that can be beyond our control, we reserve the right to make changes (exact location in the desert, hotels, dates) and shall inform the clients as soon as possible.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she/they has all the relevant and required travel documentation, etc. and arrives at the airport and other locations in time.
We can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.
We reserve the right to alter any facility accommodation or meditation/yoga and other group activities.
We do not accept any liability for theft or damage to personal possessions; personal injuries or medical conditions that develop during or after the retreat.
A client must always stop and rest if he/she/they is feeling any pain or sickness and inform us. You must ensure that we have been made aware of all your injuries, conditions, diseases etc. in advance.
We are also not liable for any costs, cancellations or charges incurred as a result of fire, natural disaster, war, 'acts of God', civil strife, problems with transport, closure of airport, passport, visa or vaccination issues or any other events beyond our control, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.
In the event of a client having any complaint then he/she/they will not discuss this with any third party until it has been brought to the attention of us.
It is mandatory that the client has travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip. We can accept no liability for the client. It is highly recommended to take out an insurance or a combination of insurances that will give you all of your money back, no matter what happens.
Alcohol will not be allowed outside of Marrakech. It is important to respect the land and its inhabitants’ ways of life in a religious, muslim country.
Clients who are wellness practitioners are invited to not offer their services, even for free, unless it is agreed by Bettina Ji.
Nature and weather is out of our control. You will be living in a desert which can be unforgiving to those who aren’t prepared. Temperatures at this time of the year tend to be more or less 25 degrees daytime and can go below 10 degrees celsius at night. We will advise you what to bring.
We will stay in a traditional Saharian desert camp but it remains an outdoor camping experience. Please manage your expectations and enjoy the change of scenery.
